==>The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a residential, yearly Twenty20 cricket competition in India,[3][4] composed by the IPL Governing Council, under the aegis of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).[5][6] It is the most viewed Twenty20 competition and the second-best paying[notes 1] donning class globally.[7][8][9]
==>IPL was built up in 2008[6] and presently comprises of eight groups in eight urban communities across India.[10][11] The debut IPL season was won by Rajasthan Royals.[12] As of May 2019, there have been twelve periods of the IPL tournament.[13][11] The most recent season was directed from March to May 2019, with Mumbai Indians winning the title.[14]
==>The IPL competition includes each group playing each other group twice in a home-and-away, twofold cooperative effort format.[15][16] At the finish of the twofold cooperative alliance, based on total focuses, the main four groups meet all requirements for the playoffs.[17][18] In this stage, the best two groups contend with one another (in a match titled "Qualifier 1"), as do the staying two groups (in a match titled "Eliminator").[19] While the victor of Qualifier 1 legitimately fits the bill for the last match, the losing group gets another opportunity to fit the bill for the last match by playing the triumphant group of the Eliminator coordinate; this match is titled Qualifier 2.[15][19] The victor of this ensuing Qualifier 2 match moves onto the last match.[19] The group that dominates the last game is delegated the Indian Premier League champion.[19]
==>By and large, thirteen groups have played in the previous ten periods of the IPL tournament.[20][21][22] Of these, five groups are never again a piece of the tournament.[10] In 2011, BCCI ended the establishment of Kochi Tuskers Kerala for authoritative breach.[23] Similarly, BCCI ended the establishment of Deccan Chargers in 2012 for support off from its commitments.[24] In 2013, Pune Warriors India left IPL after it had an establishment valuation conflict with BCCI.[22] Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were suspended in 2015 after a wagering contention. In any case, in July 2017, BCCI reported that both Chennai Super Kings and Royals would be permitted over into the rivalry from the 2018 season.[25][26] The competition highlighted eight groups for the 2019 season, including Delhi Capitals,[notes 2] Kings XI Punjab, Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Royals, Chennai Super Kings, Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians.[14][27][28][29]
==>Mumbai Indians is the best group allied history, having won four titles.[30] Chennai Super Kings, Hyderabad, Knight Riders and Royals, aside from previous group Deccan Chargers, are different groups to have won the competition title as of May 2019.[14][29][21]
